# Veteran GovCon AI Kit: ground rules and a five-line fact check (free sample)

Version 1.0, 2026-10-30. By PaperChaseWebb, a veteran-owned firm. From the Veteran GovCon AI Kit. Paste the rules below into Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex, Hermes or a chat assistant before you ask it to write anything for a federal buyer. Not run inside any agent. The five checks below match codes C05 to C10 of the full kit's checker, which was tested 2026-10-30 on a made-up company.

## The ground rules

```
Use only facts I give you. If a fact is missing, write [ASK: what you need].
Never write a certification or socioeconomic status unless I gave it with the date I checked it and where. Copy my wording exactly.
Never invent a contract number, dollar value, agency, date or result.
Do not log in to any government site or submit anything. Draft only.
```

## The five-line fact check

Before any statement goes out, check by eye:

1. UEI: 12 letters and digits, matching your SAM.gov record.
2. CAGE: 5 characters, matching your record.
3. NAICS: six digits each, primary first, all in your record.
4. Every status line: copied from your own record, with the date you checked it.
5. No word you cannot back: guaranteed, best in class, world class, #1.

## What the full kit adds

A fact sheet template, eight capability statement prompts, a one-page layout, a SAM.gov profile checklist, a past performance SKILL.md and Grok Bot block, agency research prompts, and capstat_check.py, thirteen read-only checks that caught all 13 planted faults in testing. $29.
