# The outreach rubric and the four-part pitch (free sample)

A free sample from Outreach Without Spam by PaperChaseWebb. Works in Grok Bot, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex.

AI makes outreach fast. That is the problem: fast plus unattended is how domains get burned and wrong facts land in strangers' inboxes under your name. This sample gives you the one rule, a starter rubric to score prospects before you write a word, and the four-part pitch.

## The one rule

**Agents may research and draft unattended, they may never send.** Not the first message, not the follow-up. If a tool has an autopilot setting, leave it off.

## A starter rubric

Score every prospect before drafting. Write the pass line down first.

| Criterion | Weight | Scores 2 when | Scores 0 when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visible problem you solve | 3 | It shows on their own site or posts | You are guessing |
| Fit with your proof | 2 | You have done this exact job before | You would be learning on them |
| Size and budget signal | 2 | Team, pricing or hiring suggests they can pay | Solo hobby project |
| Reachable the right way | 1 | Public business contact meant for this | Only a personal account |
| Timing signal | 1 | Recent change: new hire, launch, location | Nothing changed in a year |

A 0 on "visible problem" is a pass, whatever the total.

## The four-part pitch

1. **Their interest first.** One sentence from their own public record, with nothing invented.
2. **The specific thing you propose.** One outcome, not a capabilities list.
3. **The honest ask.** A small next step.
4. **An easy no.** "If this is not useful, no reply needed."

Under 120 words. Business facts only. No fake "Re:" subject lines.

## Check prompt

"Score this prospect against the rubric below, one sentence per criterion. If it clears [threshold], draft a four-part pitch under 120 words using only facts you can link to. List anything you could not confirm. Do not send anything."

## In the full pack

The pursue or pass threshold, research cards with evidence labels, a sales brain file, a compliance and deliverability floor, reply triage, a Grok Bot outreach desk persona, refusals written in advance, a defensive check for manufactured intros, a failure table, a worked example, a rules block and 14 prompts.
