# Compounding Offer Audit: five rules and a five-check script (free sample)

> From the Compounding Offer Audit: five rules for scoring an offer on six tests (one owner, six scores and no total, a fact for every score, no 3 on say-so, one change on the weakest test), and a read-only script that checks one small file for them.

## What you end up with

In a few minutes you can see whether an offer's scores rest on facts, which test is weakest, and whether your next step is aimed at it.

## What you get

- Five audit rules
- offer_mini.py: five read-only checks on one offer-lite.json
- One prompt for all four harnesses
- Worked example: 5 findings, then 0

## Who it is for

Anyone who sells more than one thing and wants a quick, honest look at which one to fix first.

## Tools needed

- Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex or Hermes: the audit helper; it reads the skill file, AGENTS.md snippet or rules block, scores each offer from your records with a fact and source per test, lists the unknowns, proposes one change on the weakest test and writes the one-page audit
- Python 3: runs offer.py (init, hash, gate, report, owner approval, verify, done) and the fifteen-check checker; standard library only, no network
- You need: Python 3.9 or newer
- You need: Any of Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex or Hermes

Cost to run: Free.

## Sample prompt: Score one offer (Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex, Hermes)

```
Score my offer [name] on six tests from 0 to 3: recurring, productized, systemized, owned, compounding, and whether doubling it would make my week better. Use only my invoices, my calendar and our written procedures. Give one sentence of evidence per test and where it came from. Write unknown where you do not have the fact, and tell me what is missing.
Do not give a 3 on anything I only told you. Do not add the scores up. Then name the weakest test and propose one change for it, with how I will know it worked. Put it in offer-lite.json and run offer_mini.py offer-lite.json.
```

The rules and the script are in the file.

# Compounding Offer Audit: five rules and a five-check script (free sample)

Version 1.0, 2026-10-29. By PaperChaseWebb. For owners of small service businesses who sell more than one thing and want to know which one to fix first. One Markdown file and one Python 3 script, standard library only. The script was tested on its worked example (5 findings, then 0) and on a missing file (exit 2). It was not run inside any agent harness or on a real business.

Most offer audits end in a total out of 100. A total hides the one thing that will hurt: an offer that only the owner can deliver, or a line where one client pays most of the bills. And most are scored from memory, which is how every offer ends up looking fine. This sample scores one offer on six tests, from 0 to 3: recurring, productized, systemized, owned, compounding, and whether growing it would make the owner's week better. Each score needs a fact. Then it names the weakest test and asks for one change. The life test (if this line doubled, would the owner's week get better or worse?) comes from a post by Pascio, credited in the full pack.

## Five rules

1. **One owner.** One person says yes to changes. Everyone else, agents included, proposes.
2. **Six scores, no total.** Scor

## Test record

- Date: Oct 29, 2026
- What was run: offer_mini.py on the worked example, a fixed file and a missing file.
- Result: 5 findings, then 0; exit 2 on a missing file.
- Not run: The prompt inside a harness. A real business.

Copied from this item's dated test notes. What was not run stays in.

## Worth knowing

- The sample checks one file against five rules. The written 0 to 3 scales, the worksheet, actions per kind of low score, the life veto as a gate, audits kept over time, owner approvals by hash and the fifteen checks are in the full pack.
- On 2026-10-29 offer_mini.py gave 5 findings on the worked example, then 0 on the fixed file, and exited 2 on a missing file. The prompt was not run inside a harness and the audit was not run on a real business.

## Questions

**Does it send anything anywhere?** No. It reads one file and opens no network connection.

**What is in the full pack?** A written 0 to 3 scale for each test, a worksheet, the audit folder with templates, offer.py with a gate for agents, a one-page audit and owner approvals tied to a hash with one use and expiry, fifteen read-only checks with a seeded test audit, a skill file, AGENTS.md snippet and Grok Bot rules block, ten prompts and a failure table. $19.
