What you end up with
You can see whether a page, or an agent's fix of it, still fires trackers before a choice or has the common banner problems before it goes live.
What you get
- Why agent consent fixes need checking
- Nine rules for agents that fix banners and trackers
- privacy_mini.py: ten read-only checks for one HTML page
- A made-up home page with nine findings and a clean fixed copy
Who it is for
Anyone who wants a quick check on a page, or on an agent's fix of it, before it goes live.
Works with
Solid chips: the agent is named in this listing's own tools list. Dashed chip: Plain Markdown, so it also pastes into other agents such as Grok Bot, Hermes, OpenClaw or Muse. We list those as compatible by format only, not as tested.
Tools needed
Cost to run: Free.
Time to result: About five minutes to a first scan
Sample prompts, free to use
Run python3 privacy_mini.py on [fixed page]. Fix every finding without deleting a tracker or editing its code, or hand it to me. Do not edit the site.

# Consent and Privacy Fix Desk: safe consent fix rules and a ten-check page scan (free sample) Version 1.0, 2026-11-01. By PaperChaseWebb. For anyone letting an AI agent fix cookie banners and trackers in web pages. One page and one Python 3 script, standard library only, read-only: it reads one HTML file, prints findings and changes nothing. No API key, no login. Tested on Linux with Python 3.13, 3.12, 3.11, 3.9 and 3.8: 5 unit tests, and 61 of 61 planted faults caught. The example business is made up. Not legal advice. ## Why agent fixes need checking The common problems are small: analytics and ad pixels that fire before anyone chooses, a banner with Accept and no Reject, "by continuing to browse you agree", a pre-ticked marketing box, no way to change your mind later. In 2025 California's privacy regulator fined businesses over opt-out flows that were harder than opting in and a consent tool that quietly stopped working. An agent can fix these fast, and it gets them wrong in the same few ways: - It deletes the pixel to make the warning go away, and the owner's ad reporting goes dark. - It edits the tracker code or the measurement id and breaks it. - It pastes in a consent platform script from a site nobody checked. - It makes Reject a small grey link. - It invents how long the business keeps data. - It writes that the site is "fully GDPR compliant". ## Rules to paste into AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, a Grok Bot standing order or Hermes notes 1. Test record
- Date
- Nov 1, 2026
- What was run
- tests/test_mini.py (5), 61 planted faults against privacy_mini.py, and the copy extracted from the sample page. Linux, Python 3.13, 3.12, 3.11, 3.9 and 3.8.
- Result
- 5 passed, 0 failed on all five versions; 61 of 61 faults caught; the extracted copy was identical to the tested script and found 9 problems on the example page and 0 on its fix.
- Not run
- The vendor list, the fix check, the policy check, consent.js and the eval set (the full kit does those).
Copied from this item's dated test notes. What was not run stays in.
Worth knowing
- The sample checks one page on its own. Your vendor list, the fix check against the original, the policy check, consent.js, the eval set, owner approval and agent setups are in the full kit.
- Not legal advice. It does not say a page meets any law.
- On 2026-11-01 privacy_mini.py passed 5 unit tests and 61 of 61 planted faults on Linux with Python 3.13, 3.12, 3.11, 3.9 and 3.8, and the copy extracted from the sample page was identical to the tested script.
Questions
Does it change my files or site?
No. It reads the file you name and prints findings. It opens no network connection and changes nothing.
What is in the full kit?
A 20-check scan using your own vendor list, a 17-check fix check against the original page, a policy check, a tested consent.js, owner approval at a terminal, a 6-page eval set, and setup for Grok Bot, Claude Code, Codex and Hermes. $29.

Consent and Privacy Fix Desk: agent fixes for cookie banners, trackers and privacy policies, checked against the original, owner approved
Let an agent make your analytics and ad pixels wait for a real choice, fix the cookie banner and bring the privacy policy in line with what your pages load. It writes fixed copies, never the live page. A fix check refuses deleted trackers, edited tracker code, new third-party scripts, removed words and a Reject button smaller than Accept. A policy check catches tools the policy leaves out and retention periods the agent made up. A tested consent.js honors Global Privacy Control. You approve at your terminal and put it live yourself.
